Well, Medfield, we did it again. And honestly? We might have outdone ourselves this time.
April 27th, 2025 was one of those perfect spring mornings that makes you feel good about being a runner. The sun was out, the air was crisp, and the streets of Medfield were absolutely buzzing. Nearly 200 runners showed up to tackle either the 5K or the 10K, and we are still pinching ourselves over that number. Two hundred people, folks. That is not a running club anymore, that is a movement!
Whether you were going for a PR on the 10K or treating the 5K like a scenic tour of our beautiful town, you brought the energy. The kind of energy that makes volunteers smile, makes spectators cheer, and makes us all remember why we do this in the first place.
And speaking of why we do this, let's talk about the real winners here. Every registration, every donation, every person who showed up went toward two incredible causes. Our ongoing partnership with New Life Furniture Bank means that families transitioning out of homelessness get to come home to a real home, furnished and ready. And the Soles of Medfield Scholarship Fund means local kids get opportunities they might not have had otherwise. Not bad for a Sunday morning jog, right?
To every runner who laced up, every volunteer who gave their morning, every spectator who cheered from the sidelines, and every sponsor who believed in what we are building here, thank you. You are the reason this race keeps getting bigger and better.
